This 1956 Ford Fairlane was my dad's dream car. He had a complete frame off restoration approximately 10 - 12 years ago by a man located in Edmond, OK who specialized in Ford Failane. Unfortunately, I do not know who this person is. At that time all wiring and rubber components was replaced, such as shooks, trunk seal, door jams, etc. The car is equipped with a 312 Thunderbird option motor, factory automatic transmission, factory air, factory blue tinted windows, continental kit for spare tire. My dad had the carburator and intake changed to a later model to enhance starting, however I do still have the original parts that were changed out that comes with the car. It starts and drives good. It has been sitting in storage for the last year since my father passed away last August. The car appears to be in great shape. There are a few scuffs on the paint but nothing serious. I beleive the auto to be car show material. My dad did win several trophies during his time with this car. The car is located in Ponca City, OK, (north central OK) 20 miles south of Kansas state line, 15 miles east of I-35. Serious lookers are invited to come see and drive, by appointment only.
