1984 Honda Gold Wing

Up for your consideration is one 1984 Goldwing GL 1200 Aspencade.It's almost impossible to find one with this low mileage.This bike has under 37,000 original miles. This bike has a good stator and just completed a Safety Check By Honda. I had the carbs done and front wheel bearings replaced in the last week. This cost me $626.00, and I have the paperwork from Honda. It has good brakes and good tires. It runs as it is supposed to run. The bike, while highly attractive,is not perfect.The front fender suffered some garage trauma being wedged against another object, and I glued the GL1200 emblem back on it. . Another issue with this bike is that the LCD digital readout for the speedometer doesn't always show the speed correctly. I purchased another gauge cluster, planning to have it installed, but that wont be happening. I will include it for the buyer to install. Also, the radio has some static and needs tuner spray. This bike is like driving your living room sofa down the road. It's very comfortable and stable. It's color is Premium Beige Metallic, which is the same color Clymer used on the cover of their their repair manual for the bike. (Clymer Manual Included) It is probably the nicest color Honda has ever offered, and the bike gets compliments anywhere you go. It appears to have had many extras added in terms of lights and chrome. Bike has plenty of power. Overall, this is a very nice bike. It is in about as good of shape as you would expect a well taken care of 1984 motorcycle to be in. I hate to have to get rid of it. It is truly a nice bike with very low miles. Bike is located at my farm south of Chicago 90 miles. Bike can also be picked up in Chicago if need be.
