This vehicle is completely original and in excellent overall condition with 74900 original miles. It features the 390 engine with C6 transmission, overhead console convenience group and premium interior package. The official color is pewter mist. It is rust-free and has always been garaged. The interior is in excellent conditon, as is the original vinyl top, tires, brakes and exhaust. The motor was rebuilt just before I purchased the vehicle and has few miles since the rebuild. The interior and exterior chrome are in wonderful shape with no pitting. The paint is original and shows pretty well but is getting thin in areas according to my detailer. There are a few minor scratches and scapes but nothing major. The Tbird collector I purchased the car from reported the following upgrades: complete rebuild of 390, AC converted to R134, new brakes, exhaust replacement. He also noted that the car was featured in on pages 82 and 83 of Alan Tast's "Thunderbird Fifty Years" book. Since I have owned the car, I have had the following repairs/upgrades: full rebuild of the C6 transmission with new dipstick and dipstick tube, recharged the AC, replaced window switch and motor on passenger window, replaced both motor mounts, replaced heater core, installed an Edelbrock 600 performer series carb.(retained the original carb), replaced sequential tail light controller, full tune up, and replaced the rear main seal. My local mechanic has gone through the car thoroughly to make sure it is solid and that everything works as it should. It is a beautiful, unique car but I run out of room to store.
