California car, and now in Arizona, This car has had all the hard work done for the restoration, motor completely rebuilt in 2008 at a cost of 1,900 , transmission totally rebuilt in 2009 at a cost of 2,100 , the transmission has less the 50 miles on it, It has been parked for more then a year, when they rebuilt the motor they didnt tighten down the head correctly, and it blew a head gasket, I had a mecanic come over and put a new gasket on it, it stated up just fine, after sitting for a year, it will not start now, I am unsure of the problem , maybe the old gas, as it trys to start, and so it will need to be trailered, This is a great start for someone with mecanic abillities to have a trans am with a new motor and transmission, being a california car , there is virtually no rust, I took pictures of the rust under the trunk lid. and there is some surface rust under the bird on the hood. only one small dent as pictured under the ta emblem on the passanger side , caused by a jack that slipped out, other then that the body is in great shape , original paint rare color code, will need repainted at some point, the interior will need some work, this is all that is needed to have a nice trans am, the buy it now price is less then what I had done to the motor and transmission , so this is a smokin deal for someone to finish, Back tires are new, fronts are fair, new rodchester 800, automatic, power windows power brakes and door locks, Please ask any questions before bidding , I am available if you would like to veiw the car, As you will be buying car as is, deposit of 500 due right after the sale, remainder to be paid within 48 hours, Buyer is responsible for shipping, or may be picked up locally, we live in mesa az, the reason for selling is due to us moving , and finance issues, Happy Bidding
