1965 Ford Mustang Fastback project car.Will need a total restoration. By the production information the car came with a 6 cylinder engine. The guy I got the car from had converted the drivetrain to a 8 cylinder set up, (5 lug) front and rear. The engine in the car is a 289 cu 1966 model, with a c-4 automatic transmission. I have not ever run the engine, so I don't know what condition it is in. The car body is in good condition inside and out, with partial patch panels needed only in the front floor pan area. Trunk area and wheel wells are in good shape with no apparent rust thru or rot. The front fenders were placed on the car for the pictures to show that they come with the car. They have been worked on previously and will need additional work when the car is restored. Three hoods come with the car, with the nicest one shown in the pictures. The rear deck lid is in very good condition, with no significant dents and no rust out. The doors are in very good condition, with no rust out underneath. The fold down rear seat is incomplete and in poor condition. The car comes with a lot of parts that are needed for the car, as well as additional spare parts that I got with the car. For example, there is a spare gas tank, radiator, C-4 transmission, dash bezels, rear springs, and front spindle/control arms just to name some. I am selling the car because I am into Model A restorations and just don't have the time to do this car. The car comes with a Clear Tennessee title. Buyer must pick car up from Hixson, Tn.
