Evidently if they don't find a vehicle within thirty days, the insurance company pays it off and it is then sold that way. There was no body damage done to the van. It was very straight with faded paint when I purchased it and only needed minimal prep work before it was painted with a base coat and clear coat. I have included a picture of the Colorado State record showing this history. I also have tried to price this van very reasonably to compensate for this situation. As a licensed Colorado dealer I must also sell this van as miles exempt due to it's age. You're welcome to come see the van any time during the auction to inspect it and see just how nice it is in person. These Westfalia's continue to go up in value and are getting harder and harder to find. It is extremely rare to find one so clean that runs so well. This is an exceptional Vanagon all the way around that will make its new owner very, very happy. If you would like to learn more about my world click on the me link next to my feedback.
