1985 Honda Sabre

1985 Honda Sabre V65 For sale is this 1985 Honda V65 Sabre (1100cc). I've had a lot of fun with this bike over the years but job and family have become priorities and in all honesty I really don't have the time to put into it to get it up and running. It is currently not running and here are some things that need to be addressed: It needs a battery voltage regulator and wire to regulator needs to be replaced. the speedometer/odometer needs to be addressed. My guess is the speedometer sensor needs replacing as is often the case with these bikes. Unlike many old bikes the gas tank interior is pretty clean and the tires are in good shape. It’s always been garage kept and out of the sunshine and weather. I have owned it foe the last 5 years and I am the 2nd owner.The seat was reupholstered with leather to replace the factory vinyl. If you purchase it I will throw in a tank bag, two helmets, cargo net and Honda repair manual. Ran bike last year, engine ran perfect and gears shifted smoothly. This is a great bike for anyone with a little time and or little money to put into it Note: Bike has approximately 30K miles and I am being overly critical with the mileage as I cannot confirm it due to speedometer cable. The paint is in very good shape as you can see from the photo. There is a small dent on the gas tank but nothing major. Please email me for the VIN number. The Bike is being sold strictly as is.
