Vehicle Detail
If you’ve wanted a Dodge Cummins, this is the one you’ve been waiting for! It’s a 1993 LE model. This was the last year of the 1st generation Cummins powered Rams so it has all of the factory upgrades incorporated into it like the beefed up frame, inter-cooler, etc… It is completely mechanical (engine, manual transmission, manual transfer case, hubs, etc…) and no computer anywhere on the truck except maybe in the aftermarket radio. It’s an extended cab LE with all of the bells and whistles from the factory and they all work. Cruise, windshield washer, AC blows cold, power windows and locks…everything. The truck looks great. It’s not show perfect (and I’m not asking 20 grand), but it’s incredibly nice and you can actually use it. Everything you see in the pictures comes with the truck. Factory: 12 valve inter-cooled Cummins 5 Speed manual transmission Dana axels – 60 front and 70 rear with 3.55 gear ratio (19mpg around town, 25mpg on the highway at 65mph) NP205 transfer case – last year of the all gear driven transfer case Upgrades: lift kit with Rancho shocks – looks like 3-4” above stock, not at all hard to get in and out of Heavy duty front and rear bumpers – front bumper has space to mount a winch Toyo M/T tires – about 3000 miles on them, no wear problems Gauges – exhaust temp, boost, and tach (the tach isn’t hooked up) Fuel pin modified by diesel shop here in town. Didn’t hurt MPG or Exhaust temps and adds about 100hp Recent work: Valves adjusted, killer dowel pin tabbed, new valve cover gasket, new battery, new serpentine belt (I’ll throw in the old one for a spare) this spring. New heater grids and relays – no problem with cold starts New passenger side door lock Oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and complete chassis lube all done/changed with-in the last 1000 miles I'll throw in the tires that were on it when I bought it (there not great, but they work) and any extra maintenance items I have for the Cummins (oil/fuel filters...) Shipping is at your cost or you can fly into our little airport here (connections from San Francisco and Portland) and drive anywhere on earth without any worries. Payment: certified check/funds, basically I hold the title and vehicle until whatever funds you send clear. Then I sign the title over to you and Fed Ex it on my dime (if you’re having the truck shipped) or just hand it to you when you come to pick up the truck. I’m asking more than the bank will finance and would like to be paid within 7 days or I’ll re-list. Not trying to offend, I just ask you to have you funds ready. Please ask any questions you have. Reserve not disclosed and truck is listed elsewhere so don’t delay. On Aug-04-10 at 14:58:10 PDT, seller added the following information: On Aug-04-10 at 22:10:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey guys a couple of questions have come up: I won't disclose the reserve price, but it's significantly lower than the buy-it-now price. The buy-it-now is for the guy who wants to lock-in the truck for himself and be certain that he doesn't lose the auction at the last second. I don't plan on stopping the auction once the reserve has been met. The folding seats in the extended cab each have factory installed seat belts, so if a passenger can legally ride without a car seat then they can legally ride in the back. 12 valve Cummins engines are entirely mechanically controlled. There are no 'modules' or 'chips' that can go bad unlike the the newer engines. The car fax report shows an Alaskan registration because I'm active duty military stationed in Oregon. I bought the truck in Oregon (as you can see from the report), but I register my vehicles, vote, get my drivers license, etc... in Alaska since that's my state of residence. The truck has always lived in Oregon. I've spent quite a bit of money making the truck right, but it's not a show truck, it's not a frame off restoration and it's 17 years old so I don't offer a warranty. However, when was the last time you jumped in one of these classic vehicles and all of the factory accessories worked, especially the A/C? Not to mention that the drive line components are 100% good to go mechanically and very powerful. Also, there is a trailer brake controller and 9-pin hook up installed which I had forgotten to list earlier. Just think, you could buy an average truck and spend 7-8 grand just to bring it up to this level. I've had several inquiries and welcome any more, I just added this to help anybody out there who had some of the same questions come up. Thanks for all of your interest, good luck!
