Vehicle Detail
I have here a Honda CRX. I am the third owner of this vehicle. The car went about 10K on the old motor and transmission quit on me. I replaced the motor and transmission last year with the hopes of restoring it to stock condition. The motor I replaced at about 375K miles w/ a used motor that had 90K on it. The replacement transmission had only 80K on it. The first oil change was done at 500 miles to get the motor in sync and get the gunk out. Afterward the oil was replaced with full synthetic and changed every 3K there after. I replaced the oil pump, pvc valve, belts, hoses, timing belt, water pump. I had the heating system and radiator pumped out. When I purchased the car both of the front CV-axles were busted. I replaced both of the CV's on the front end. The only issues this car has mechanically is the Idler Pulley seized and caused the V-belt to come pop off. The car comes equipped with AC, never had it hooked up, but was told by the mechanic he suspected the compressor was bad. The compressor online on ebay runs 100-150 bucks. New V belt will cost you about 20 and a new pulley about 20. This car has new aftermarket Sony CD Player with Ipod Direct Connect. The car has no issues going up the road, I've driven to and from school every day to Rock Hill, SC. Most the car's issues are merely cosmetic. The rear tail light lens is missing some plastic. The front bumper cover is cracked. The windshield has a hair line crack and a small pop mark on it. The interior seats are torn, but can be covered with seat covers, have some I'll put on the car later and include pictures of. With a little bit of time this car would be a great car for anyone to have. It has the original doughnut in the back as well as a tire iron and jack. I have also included several bulbs I bought in pairs as well. The winner will have to pay a non-refundable deposit of 500 dollars via paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. You will need to contact me when you are notified as the winning bidder. I expect the car to be picked up and paid in full. You may pay the remaining balance in CASH or the whole thing via PAYPAL. Keep in mind that this car is 20 years old, so please be sure to have the funds to pay for this car. I have said as much about this car as I can, it is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, NO REFUNDS. On Aug-08-10 at 08:01:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I have tried editing the mileage, but as usual, ebay won't let me change it, car has 394K actual miles, also the driver's side window is off the track.
