This is your chance to buy a nice 1958 BMW R50 motorcycle. This is a 500cc, 4-speed, air-cooled twin-cylinder boxer engine with swing Fork front suspension. It has an Original 'Schorsch Meier' seat. Mileage is 25,550 and believed to be actual. I purchased this BMW in 2005. Matching number 588002 is on the frame and engine. It’s on a clear Vermont title. It has a center stand and pegs for a rear passenger; it has the tire air pump. It has the patina of a 52-year-old motorcycle. This bikes runs great, everything works as it should and is ready to ride. As you would expect from a bike this age there are some minor chips and scratches here and there. It appears to have led an easy life (please review photos.) When I purchased the cycle 5 years ago I had the engine gone through by a local motorcycle shop and had new tires (Metzeler “Lasertec”) and a new Clutch Disk installed. It has aluminum rims. It has a valid Vermont inspection. Needs a tune up in times can be temperamental to start. The side tool compartment has no lock, the lock was been drilled out.
