Satisfaction Guarantee Before You Complete the Deal: If you come to pick up the bike and you are disappointed in any way at all you may back out and I will refund your deposit and give you positive feedback anyway. But, you must personally come see the bike, otherwise I keep the deposit. I guarantee that you will love the bike when you see it or I will refund your deposit and we won't do the deal. You won't need to give me a reason and I won't ask. If you tell me that you don't want to make the deal after you see the bike then it will be no problem - instant refund of your deposit. This bike is in extremely nice condition and mechanically solid. I keep this bike clean, Turtle waxed, and sealed with spray polish. It stays in the garage not the weather. In the winter it stays in my heated basement. The tires, chain, brakes, battery are in excellent condition. I believe this bike is ready for a coast-to-coast trip with no worries. The fuel tank is absolutely perfect with no dents, dings, or scratches. The tank has no rust inside. I am a mechanical engineer with 30 years of motorcycle mainenance experience and I take excellent care of my vehicles. I did the valve adjustment at 12,000 miles and only 2 valves needed to be reshimmed. I wouldn't check it again until 30k. It is easy to work on and it has no leaks. All of the paint is the original factory Suzuki paint. All of the safety decals are still in place. The levers and grips are nice. For a 1000cc bike it is very light and easy to ride. The comfort is the best. It has a thick wide seat and comfy bars and very comfortable passenger seat. I could ride this bike all day with no problem. It can be ridden while standing on the pegs for an occassional change of position during long rides. The exhaust system is stock and very quiet. The mighty V twin is a torque monster and will power wheelie if you just roll it on in first gear a bit too quickly. So, be careful. It can be ridden very slowly with easy balance and control. On the interstate, it is loafing at 75mph and will pass with arm stretching power in 6th gear even though it is very overdriven. I average about 50 mpg. The bike is not quite "perfect". The previous owner dropped it in his garage and damaged the right side body panel shown in a close up photo in this ad. Zoom in close and you can see some scratches. If you want a high resolution photo, just ask. It is not cracked and I wouldn't replace it. Also, I had soft luggage bags on the bike and they rubbed some of the finish off the muffler heat shields. If the bike does not sell I will just paint the heat shields with metallic gray epoxy paint and it will look fine. If you want high resolution photos of anything, just ask. I want to give you full honest disclosure so you are not disappointed when you come to get it. Despite this, the bike is especially nice and mechanically excellent. I have never had any problems with it. It has never been wrecked or repainted. My guarantee of satisfaction is before the deal. After the deal there is no guarantee or warranty or refund. I am not desperate to sell and I want a mutually clean and happy transaction with full honest disclosure or no deal at all.
