Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1997 Buick Riviera, 3800 Supercharged V6, 4 spd auto. 79,800 miles. Car is equipped with, sunroof, dual climate, cd & cassette, dual power leather seats w/heat & all the usual power goodies. I have replaced the carpet (coffee stains) I was lucky enough to obtain a factory carpet from GM PARTS. I also replaced all the alternator, serp belt idler pulleys, serpentine belts, tensioners, power steering pump, water pump, thermostat, flushed cooling system & 2 front tires. I purchased it with the intention of being a commuter car to Cape Cod, but that did not come to be, so now the car must go. It is a very solid, smooth running car with cold a/c. Also, I just had the windshield replaced (stone chips). I did realize after I purchased the car it had been repainted, but I do not know why. I had it inspected by a body shop & they said it was just a repaint, no physical damage. The car runs excellent & is really quick with the supercharger. It has been gone over by a local garage, tune-up done & passed with no issues. So, if you are looking for a good daily driver, this is a great car for minimal money. Any other information that I can provide you with, please contact me by email. I will be more than happy to answer questions. I have tried to be as descriptive as possible, but I am sure that there is something I may not have mentioned that you are curious about. If so PLEASE ASK !!!, I have a 100 % feedback & I want it to stay that way. I can provide more pictures if you would like. Just remember, if you push the button, you will be required to pay-up, so, do not bid if you do not want the car. Thanks for looking & good luck. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 8/3/10 .....OK, since the car did not sell, I am going to try something a little different. I always am cautious about buying a car without actually seeing it in person & that has always bothered me about Ebay. I got burned several years ago from a guy who just wanted to make a buck, O' well , I lost. Anyway, my point is, I am offering the car for sale with the added clause, " If you are not happy with the purchase when you see the car in person, you do not have to buy it." I'm sorry but this only applies to the buyer picking up the car in person, I am not messing around with shipping it back and forth. So, the deal is, you don't like the car when you see it in person, you can walk away, and yes, I will refund your deposit (less $100.00). It is a really good car (in my opinion) that someone will really enjoy driving, I certainly have, albeit a short time, but I cannot keep her. I think that is more than fair and maybe this will take the pressure off thinking that you are stuck with a car you do not like. If you have any questions on this, please ask me, I want the buyer to be happy about the purchase. One other thing about the car, it shows woodgrain overlays on the dashboard & doors. Well. that did not work out well & has been removed with no issues on the dash. I still have the pieces if the new owner would like to re-attach them with spray adhesive. Thanks again for looking & happy bidding.
