I've debated for quite a while about selling this little car. My kids named him "Hubert". I can't tell you why. We are the 2nd owner of this Honda Civic EX and have had it for over 5 years. It starts immediately every time and drives like a car that has 50k miles on it. I know that sounds silly, but it really does. It does have some exterior scratches and interior stains as you'd expect from a 15 year old vehicle, but nothing major. The only 'bad' things I can say about the car is that the driver's side power window is slow and sometimes needs a little help. It's always been that way since we've had the car but has gotten progressively worse. We just give it the little help it needs. The other thing is that if you are sitting at a stoplight with the A/C on, sometimes the idle will drop so low that the car vibrates and the engine dies. I've been told the idle is set too low, but I always figured that we could just bump it into neutral at stoplights or slightly nudge the throttle rather than having the idle high where it might hurt the transmission. The transmission shifts crisply and has no slip to it. That's about all of the 'bad' stuff I can think of. I included a couple of pictures of the underside of the car because I think it's amazing that a 15 year old car with 170k miles on it has never left a drop of oil on the garage floor. The oil has been changed every 3k miles and it has never used any oil between changes. It was running when I took the pictures so you can see that it doesn't smoke any either; nor has it ever been smoked in. The timing belt was changed around 150k miles as well. As I mentioned, it drives great. It doesn't pull one bit on the road, cruise control works just fine and there are no strange noises. On the highway it gets a little over 40 mpg and almost always gets over 30 in city driving. What doesn't show up on the automatically listed options is the 4 wheel ABS. Although the car sits relatively low, with almost new tires on it, it does extremely well in bad weather. I can take any additional pictures as needed. It's starting to get a little thin on paint on the trunk lid and roof, but not too bad. We've always kept it indoors since we've had it. The only reason I'm selling the car is because we flat out have too many vehicles and insurance, plates, etc. are just getting too high. Winning bidder will need to leave a $300 deposit via PayPal at the conclusion of the auction and will be responsible to pick up the car here. Anyone is welcome to come inspect the car before bidding.
