He was guided in starting his business by his uncle, John Short, who owned several new and used car dealerships throughout Texas over the course of more than 30 years in the business. I started working for my Dad at age 16, finished high school, and began my college career toward my Associates Degree in Automotive Marketing and Management from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX. Between college and the present, I married my wonderful wife Rachel in 2007 and we also bought our first house that same year. I have now had my own business for 4 years selling pre-owned vehicles on eBay and Craigslist. My Dad and I continue to work together: he sells vehicles strictly from his storefront just as he has done for the past 20 years, while I have chosen to cater to the online community.
