Up for auction is this 1998 Dodge Ram Pick up. READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. I am selling the truck for my mother. This truck will need extensive work before it is road ready. The following is an incomplete list I got from the local mechanic: 1. Break lines, All. 2. Rear shackles. 3. Pass. coil spring seat. 4. 2 Wheel bearings, I forget which ones. 5. Universal joint. 6. Tires. 7. Brake shoes and calipers. In addition, the truck has some rust. The under carriage does not look bad to me, but I'm not a mechanic and make no promises. The bed as rust around the wheel wells. The doors were rusted through on the bottoms, but were fix two years ago after a front end accident. The truck does start and drive. I am unaware of any transmission problems and I have been the main driver for the last two years. The engine runs ok, it goes through a little coolant. Water pump was replaced several years ago. May have a bad head gasket? The interior is dirty and has a rip in the seat. The shifter knob is stripped off the threads. I have tried to be as complete as I can in the description.
