For your consideration is a 1983 Chrysler 5th Ave. I am the second owner as of 2009. Since purchased new, this vehicle has been garaged when not driven. It has NEVER seen snow, very rarely seen rain.The original owner passed away a couple of years ago. His son drove the car on weekends as to keep the the fluids circulating, usually highway rides.He finally parted with it. I immediatley fell in love with the car. I am selling it because of the ever growing space problem.My kids are now driving and there is very little room in the driveway. I would feel a lot better if someone else would preserve this car,preferably with a garage. I am too busy to give this car the attention that a collector would give it.For the past year this car has been under a five layer car cover when not driven, since I do not have a garage.This custom fit car cover is included with the car. The ride is so comfortable & smooth as these classic cars are so known for. There are only 56,000 miles on this automobile.It sports a 318 engine which is very clean as seen in photo.It is equipped with a/c (needs charging),power windows,power door locks,power seats,power antenna,power brakes,cruise control,rear window defogger,original premium quartz locked precision series am/fm cassette stereo w/ Dolby sound. It is also equipped with the factory optional rear amp with on/off switch. The interior is immaculate. It is Burgundy in color. Carpet still looks and feels like brand new. Rear seats look like they were never sat in. Cigarette lighter and ashtray NEVER used.This vehicle has NEVER been smoked in. The seats are a crushed velour in Burgundy. All four doors have secondary pull handles.All interior courtesy lights working.All door jambs like new.Exterior still shows an extremely bright and shiny finish.Original paint. No dents or rust.The only flaw is a tiny outward dent on the trunk as seen in photo,(1/4" in size & not easily noticed).This car offers a Landau roof which is in pristine condition.This particular edition features side marker lights on the vinyl sides, not many were.The tires are in excellent condition with plenty of tread & super-wide white walls.The signature Chrysler spoke basket wheel covers are still in showroom condition with blinding chrome. Convenient full size spare tire which also sports a matching spoke basket cover.The original owners manual is included. I will also include two Chrysler Service manuals, which are: Electrical & Engine Performance, & Chassis & Body. This Chrysler will include the optional soft material floor mats as well as the original rubber 5th. Ave. floor mats. This car qualified for "Classic Car" insurance. The requirements are that the vehicle has to be at least 25 years old & be reasonably apprasied. This vehicle was appraised at $5,000.00. I was able to acquire Historic license plates.
