AS THE NAME SAYS YOU CAN DRIVE IT "AS-IS" OR FIX IT TO YOUR LIKING, BUT IT IS A RUNNING, DRIVING FUN TRUCK. MOST OF THE PICTURES WERE TAKING WHEN IT WAS RAINING (got to do it when i have the time at home) SO IT LOOKS A LITTLE SHINY BUT IT'S ACTUALLY FLAT BLACK WITH GLOSS FLAMES. I'M ON THE ROAD TRANSPORTING CARS ALOT SO IT MAY TAKE A FEW DAYS TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND I CAN'T ANSWER ANY WITHIN THE LAST 12 HOURS OF THE AUCTION, AS PER EBAY'S TERMS & CONDITIONS . IT'S GOT A 250 ci straight 6, 3 ON THE TREE STICK/STRAIGHT SHIFT THAT SHIFTS VERY SMOOTH (floor shifter available for extra buy-it-now cost, email me), AM-FM 8 TRACK PLAYER. It has a 4 new RADIAL TIRES AND FUEL PUMP , recent tune up, belts & hoses, battery & 4 shocks. It would make a good shop truck or just a good work/daily driver/cruise-in cruiser. DRIVE IT HOME. It's a pretty solid old southern truck compared to most of the rust buckets out there but it's NOT perfect. It was originally sold at Matkin GMC Co in Cullman, Alabama and that is stamped into the back bumper. All 4 cab mounts are pretty solid, see pic's. The CHEVY short bed is very solid but the original wood floor has been replaced with 3/4" plywood. As you can see in the pictures the top of the cab above the windshield has NO rust!! It's got it's scrapes and dings over the years but for it's age it's in fairly good condition and is fun to drive and gets plenty of attention. It has a few small rust spots starting in the drivers side floor but the floor overall is very solid, It is 43 years old after all!!! It needs your interior detail touches and i'll INCLUDE a decent used black dash pad with the truck, that has 1 crack in it. I can also add power steering to it for a buy-it-now fee, email me at the address below for details. The vinyl graphics are easily removed. Speedo shows 44,908 but i don't know if that's correct. On Aug-01-10 at 14:12:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a few questions about the buy-it-now prices for the power steering and shifter mentioned in the ad. The power steering parts are $50: pump with brackets, pulley, steering box with used hoses (minus the belt, i'd suggest a new one) or $160 total installed with a new belt. the truck hurst shifter is $75 or $150 installed.
