Although we do our best to accurately describe each vehicle that we list, we will occasionally miss something. We will point out any defect that is not normal wear and tear. If possible we will take a picture of it so that you can see it better. Sometimes owners manuals, floormats, and extra sets of keys will be missing. Please feel free to contact us with requests for more pictures of specific areas. The winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end. We accept paypal for the deposit, but not for the remainder of the balance due. We prefer bank to bank wire transfers, bank drafts or cashiers checks for the balance. We will accept personal and business checks but the checks must clear both banks before vehicle and title are released (usually 7-10 days) We also accept loan checks from your bank, credit union, or from online lenders. Your trade-ins are also welcome. Please contact us before the end of the auction if you wish to trade a vehicle. We will not trade vehicles that have salvage or flood history or odometer problems. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. This is another one of our famous eBay auctions for a gorgeous Ford Excursion. This is a 4x4 SUV with the Eddie Bauer package. This Excursion is powered by the Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine mated to a heavy duty 5 speed automatic transmission and a 3.73 gear ratio limited slip differential. This truck is rated at 9,200 lbs GVW. It has two tone heated leather seats, memory drivers seat, DVD rear entertainment system, rear air conditioning, power adjustable pedals, power windows, locks and mirrors, rear back up sensors, 6 disc CD changer radio, and much more. My wife and I have driven this vehicle over 1,600 miles and it has performed flawlessly. On a recent highway trip we averaged 19 mpg.
History
This Ford Excursion was manufactured in December of 2003 and first registered in January of 2004. It has been registered in the State of Virginia ever since. This SUV has a clear and clean title history with no accident records or other problems to report on the Autocheck and Carfax reports. It has obviously been very well maintained by the previous owner.
Mechanical
This truck runs and drives very nice. The mileage doesn't seem to have affected this vehicle at all. The engine runs great with all of its original power. The transmission shifts crisply with no slipping or hesitation. The tires are Firestone 10-ply tires with about 60% tread left. The brakes are good. The air conditioning blows cold. The check engine light is not on and there are no other warning lights illuminated. The exhaust has been modified with a straight through muffler and cat delete pipe. This truck also has an Airaid cold air intake. The underside of this truck is clean and dry with no leaks or rust to speak of (see pictures). This truck has been serviced with all new fluids and filters. It is Virginia State inspected and is ready to drive anywhere.
Exterior
This paint on this Excursion is in very good condition. There are a few minor cosmetic imperfections that you might expect on a truck with this mileage but overall it is in very good condition. There are two almost imperceptible dings in the drivers door right below the handle.(see picture) There is also a small ding on the rear corner right below the tail light(see picture). The paint on the hood has some tiny cracks from sun damage that are not very noticable. The wheels are starting to show just a little bit of corrosion in a few places (See pictures) Other than these minor things, this SUV looks much like a new one. I would rate the exterior a 9 out of 10.
Interior
The interior of this SUV is nice and clean as well. The seats and carpet are clean with no major stains or rips. There are no unusual or offensive odors. This truck has not been smoked in. There is some slight wear on the drivers seat bolster but you have to look close to be able to see it. Also, the latch that holds the DVD screen in the closed position is broken. This truck comes with the owners manuals as well as one key and one remote. It also has the factory floor mats, trailer brake controller wiring (unopened) and spare tire jack and tools. I would rate the interior a 9 out of 10.
