Vehicle Detail
This impala is one COOL ride!!! It runs and drives and is quite dependable. There is no better way to cruise the strip with your friends on that cool summer night. 3 Rockford Fosgate 15 inch subs help out the situation quite a bit. It has 6 RF amps to go along with the subs. This massive system requires 3 batteries and a huge alternator. The speakers are not great and could use some help. I do not know a lot about the systems and don’t know how to adjust the crossovers. The car hits good but I am sure with the proper tuning it would hit amazing. The car sounds great!! That 327 camming makes one mean sound on the strip. It starts right up and runs fine. It has the turbo 350 tranny which shifts like a dream. The bad is the vehicle stops fine but the brake pedal feels very soft. I understand with a lot of these cars you are lucky to get them to stop at all. The right side has scrubbed something in the past and the front and rear panels have some scratching on them. The car is a true 20 ft ride. It could use a paint job. I imagine a good wax job would help it a lot right now. The top is manual and it is heavy. The plastic window has a tear in it covered by duck tape. This can be seen in the pics below. The left sun visor has seen better days. The beauty rings are for 8 inch wheels and these are 7 inches. This is why the right rear ring is missing. The exhaust coming out of the block has some pulled studs and you can hear some hissing air. All of theses problems with the car are easy to fix and not very expensive I just don’t have the time to mess with it. This car needs some TLC but it is one awesome ride. I did some trading and ended up with it. I just want to get my money out of it. My loss is your gain!!! Don’t hesitate to call Taber at 828-429-8803. Thanks
