Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1992 Ford E-150 Van. I've owned it for a little more than two years and I know the previous owner. The vehicle has been used to pull my boat to and from the lake and has been driven back and forth to work. I also took it on a trip to Kansas City, Sturgis, SD and back to Wisconsin last September and never had a problem with it. It runs great but could use some cleaning up. I've recently had A/C work done on it (line replacement) but it appears to need a charge now. The compressor still works and it blows sort of cold, however two of three fan speeds no longer work. Also replaced the tie rod ends, it has recently been tuned up and the tires are about a year old. New brakes (drums, rotors, pads and shoes) and shocks installed last summer. The driver's side rocker panel is rusting out and there is some surface rust on the top and on the rear quarter panels. The driver's seat needs to be re-upholstered but it isn't unbearable. The electric seat still works fine. Electric windows and door locks all work. Captains chair on the passenger side and two in the back are in good shape and the back bench seat makes a nice bed. It's great for camping. Sliding widows, screens and blinds are all in good shape, as well. I'm moving in a few weeks and don't want to take the van with me so I need to part with it quickly. There is no reserve and bidding starts at the minimum. It has just over 166,000 miles on the 351 and does not use any oil. There is a very small exhaust leak that makes a slight ticking sound...most likely coming from the exhaust manifold. Otherwise, to the best of my knowledge, it's mechanically sound. However, I'm selling as is to the highest bidder. You will need to pick it up and I'll provide directions. However, I'll have limited access to a computer so be patient with me and I'll answer any questions about it to the best of my knowledge and as quickly as I can.
