Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my beloved "Ratrod" styled pickup. I designed and built this truck from the frame up. I am only allowed a few pics on this listing, but if you are a serious bidder, I can e-mail you more of the construction. FEATURES: ALL STEEL body, any small dents and dings were hammered out, metal filler panels were purchased or made by hand to fill in the holes for stock taillights, mirrors and door handles to give that simple, clean look. NO BONDO! Some plastic filler used, as any body shop will tell you, you cant get it perfect without it. Used remote key fob and solenoids to "pop" the doors open for entry, exit is still the same. Just grab the interior handle. Interior is pretty much stock, all gauges work, lighting all works, original radio and speakers work. Additional am/fm/cd/mp3 player is wired to 2 truck speakers behind the seatback through a 200watt amp as well as a 10" subwoofer. The engine is a crate 350 from GM performance, it has about 10,000 miles on it and I have always used synthetic oil in it. The trans is a t-350 automatic. The speedo cable output leaks a little, just haven't had time to fix. Fuel tank was replaced with a plastic one. The fuel level sender, and tank straps are new as well. Chassis: Master cylinder, front calipers, rear wheel cylinders, and pads and shoes are all new, as well as front rotors. Tires are brand new reproduction 3" whitewalls from Universal Tire CO. Truck has been lowered 5 1/2" in the front with new spindles and springs, ball joints were replaced also. The rear was dropped 7" with an axle relocator kit (puts axle on top of the springs instead of under) and drop shackles, as well as a frame notch kit from Western Chassis. All new shocks were also installed at the same time. Body: Original body was removed and replaced with rust free parts from Southern Truck Parts in Georgia. All badging, trim was removed and smoothed, drip rails, door handles, exterior mirrors, tail lights were shaved and smoothed. Custom handmade grille, relocated headlights, and LED tail/stop/turn lights in the rear. Back/up light is hidden under the rear and is a fog light from a Peterbilt truck. Entire truck was sanded to bare metal, smoothed and sealed. Long story short, truck was prepped for paint, went to store. Store did not have my paint ready as promised, quick solution was to buy "ready-to-spray" paint in quart cans. I originally put on blue metallic with white ralley stripes. It didn't turn out bad, just not what I had in mind. A few weeks later, I found a "low gloss" black. I used that and it turned out great! THIS IS NOT PRIMER BLACK FOLKS! It is actually paint. When you rub your hand on primer, it leaves a white residue from your hand on the vehicle, I used actual paint to prevent this from occuring. Plus it is easy to rattle can a section if it were to get scratched. Exhaust: Hooker headers, dual cherry bomb mufflers, side exit through the rear wheelwells and get this....FLAMETHROWERS!!! A crowd pleaser everywhere! See picture of rear wheel, and note the sparkplug in the exhaust pipe. Activated with the flip of a switch in the cab. Puts out about 1 1/2'-2' flame! WHY AM I SELLING MY BABY YOU ASK? Well, I have too many toys, The wife says sell the Harley or the truck. I have a daily driver already, so, of course any guy in his right mind would keep the Harley! This truck is a head turner anywhere you go. I hope it brings as much joy to the next owner as it has brought me! Good luck in your bidding and thanks for reading. Disclaimer: This is sold AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied, I reserve the right to end auction at any time as this is listed locally as well. Thanks.
