You are bidding on a 1955 Mercury Montclair 2 door Hardtop Coupe with original 292 v8 4 bbl carb and 2 spped Automatic Transmission 12volts. It Runs and Drives good. Have clear Title on hand. Few bondo spots on both right and left rocker panels and rear right and left Quarter panels. Have rust bubbles on the right front fender, paint bubbling on the right front lower part of door. floor pans are ok about half dollars size hole on the left front pan and left rear pan other than that body is great shape. The Bad 1.Need Paint and the chrome rechromed Orginial paint is Alska White/ Sun Glaze prior owned painted it and was done poorly 2.Needs Carburator Rebuilt 3. Engine leaks a little oil, and may need tune up. 4. Fuel gauge Adjusted (New Tank, fuel Pump and Sending Unit) reads 1/4 tank when empty 5. Engine Coolant Temp Sensor or gauge reads incorrectly 6. Oil Pressure Sensor or Gauge dosent read at all. 7. Missing interior chrome trim and rocker chrome, driver door small chrome piece, And the front bumper is from a 1956 mercury 8. Install new front coil springs (included with purchase) The Good 1. New fuel tank, pump and sending unit (need to adjust the lever for correct fuel it 1/4 of tank off) 2. New rear leaf springs and shocks from Jamco Suspension 3. New front coil spring (need to install included with the sale) and shocks (installed) From Jamco Suspension 4. Front disc brakes kit (Installed) and power master cylinder (installed) 5. Power wipers installed need to mount the switch on the dash 6. Prior owner changed it from 6 volt to 12volt.
