Vehicle Detail
Looking for an awesome project??? Highly Sought after Impala!!! 348 manual Shift Car!!! Available for your consideration is a 1959 Impala 2dr Bubble top. A highly sought after vehicle that is getting tougher and tougher to find. This is an original 348 V8 car with a manual shift transmission. The engine and trans are no longer with the car. This car does come with all new side glass tinted. A very nice clean used windshield is also included. I spent a long time looking for the right vehicle to restore. I started accumulating various parts so I could complete the project. This vehicle has tons of potential. I have all the manual shift shifting rods also. The 59 chevy 2 dr bubble top is one of the most sought after vehicles today. These cars are getting tough to find. This is a power steering and power brake car. A great project and a highly valuable automobile when completed. This is a car worth re doing. Some get caught up building cars that have no value when completed. Not here. These 59's command the money when completed. A very solid body with all the suspension, crossmember and rear end in place. These items are all original and have not been molested. The car is in need of floor boards and a trunk floor. I have a complete brand new trunk floor ready to be welded in that comes with the car. This car spent most of its life in Texas then went to Arkansas then to Ohio. I have always kept it stored indoors. I hate to sell this car I will never be able to afford to replace it but due to health reasons it must go. I had complete intentions to complete this project. Mainly a Ford guy but you just can not deny the styling cues of a 1959 Impala 2dr coupe bubble top. These cars have class!!! The left fender has a dent at the parking lamp. I purchased a very clean used fender from out West and had it shipped in. This Left fender goes with the car. The grille and front chrome is all there and in good shape. The lower valance under the bumper will need some work. Easy to repair. The right fender and hood are in real nice shape. The doors look great with no real issues. The interior needs completely redone from top to bottom. Complete interior kits are available. You will need the metal tops for the trim panels since the trim panels for the doors are missing. The front seat is there and does need recovered. The rear seat top and bottom is there and will also need redone. The dash is in great shape, will need painted. This car also has the trim package that offers the chrome and stainless trim on the lower dash. I also have a radio to install the original 1959 Impala radio. The floor boards are gonna need work and or replacement, water laid in them and they rusted out. The fronts are thin (swiss cheese) the rears are shot. The roof has surface patina but is in great shape. The trunklid also has surface patina and will need the inside patched. Easily repairable with no issues. The rain gutter in the trunk has also rusted and will need work.. Thsi car was tarped in texas and water laid in the floors and trunk. No further damage. The frame is in excellent shape. I am just trying to describe this vehicle 100% accurate so you know exactly what you are buying. The car does need work but will be one excellent vehicle that can be restored to great shape. The quarters are very solid. The rockers will need some work but for the most part are solid. They have plenty of metal to work with. All the rar panels are in great shape. I also have a set of new taillamp lens that go with the car. I have most all the trim for the car. A few pieces can use some polishing and some dings removed. If you are in the market for a very workable 1959 Impala this is the car for you...A vehicle with great potential. This car needs time spent on it more than anything. I have most al lthe trim that is expensive for this car. The glass is all new with a good used windshield. If your in the market to restore one of the most sought after Chevys today look no further. I am gonna sell this car No Reserve to the highest bidder. Bid with confidence to own this car. Whatever parts I have, I will gather up and let go with the car. I will no longer have need for them. I would love to see this car put together and on the road. It is a waste for me to just have it hoarded in a garage. If you have any questions at all please feel free to email. I will be glad to get back with you. If you need the vehicle transported let me knwow I may be able to get you a great rate. Even though I would like to see this car stay in the states. I love to see people from maround the world enjoy these great cars. So I am willing to sell anywhere. I am very familiar with overseas shipping due to my commercial truck business so I would be glad to help corrdinate shipping anywhere.. I have a clear Ohio title ready for transfer this title is clear and free of any liens.. The title shows 37,115 actual miles. Good luck bidding!!! Once again bid with confidence I am gonna sell to the highest bidder!!!! Good Luck!!!
