This auction is for a 1930 D.D. Dodge Deluxe Roadster with a rumble seat. Introduced in January, 1930, this Dodge has a V.V. (Visteon and Ventilating) type windshield. A very rare right hand drive deluxe roadster with right and left side mounts, this car has a wheelbase of 109 inches and is powered by a 6 cylinder, 189 cubic inch engine. Each of the wheels has hydraulic brakes. History - A total of 772 Deluxe Roadsters were made by Dodge in 1930. For the 1930 model year, Dodge Motor Company shipped 121 chassis to Austrailia. The body (#31294) for this vehicle was constructed by the T.J. Richards and Sons King of the Road Company located in Adelaide, Austrailia. The car is in excellent condition. Several (almost all) pieces on this car have been re-chromed. Since its restoration, it has been on 3 (500 mile tours) without any problems. The engine mileage is unknown.
