Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevy Nova 2 door post. 350 V8 with 350 turbo trans, shift kit, stall speed convertor, Hurst V-matic 2 shifter on the floor, 373-10 bolt posi rear, front disc brakes, vintage Crager GT wheels on BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Fronts are 205/70 R14 and rears are 235/60 R14 tires. Rear air shocks and ladder bars. HISTORY: I am the forth owner of this car. The guy who built it, bought it off the original owner (in NJ) with 30,000 miles on it. He repainted the car the original blue color, and replaced the 6 cylinder engine & powerglide trans with the current drive train with the exception of the Hurst shifter. He then sold it in 2004 to the person who I bought it from in 2006. I have the original owners manual, insurance id card and protecto-plate. CONDITION: Body & Interior- The car now has 41,150 miles on it. It retains all of the orginal body panels, floor pans and trunk. THERE ARE NO PATCH PANELS ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR & NOT RUST OR ROT. The body is straight and clean as you could find. There is only one scrape in the paint on the left rear quarter panel and one small group of paint bubbles on the rightside door bottom (have photos if needed). All the glass is clean and in good condition, under the hood is nicely detailed as well as the trunk. The interior is all blue and in good condition. The carpet is new and the rubber floor mats are too. The headliner is not ripped, torn or hanging - could use a cleaning. The dash is in great conditon, cigarette lighter delete & an AM radio, front and rear seat belts. No aftermarket gauges, just a tach mounted the the steering column. Original steering wheel recently refinished - some times the horn works/don't work - I think its a horn button ground issue. The seats are in nice shape, are not torn - there is a little fading-discoloring on the seat tops. I also have the original shifter & parts for the automatic column and 4 GM steel wheels painted the body color (two 14" for the front and 2 15" for the rear). DRIVETRAIN: 350 V8 (#K1125CNV) 1970 motor, 4 barrel Holley, GM aluminum hi-rise maniflold, rams horn exhaust manifolds, into dual exhaust with tailpipes in the stock locations behind the wheels. Also has exhaust cut-offs, remove the two bolts that hold the plates and you have open exhaust for racing. This car runs fast and pulls straight, shifts firm and chirps the tires in each gear. The only issue that I have with it is a small oil leak - I believe it is coming from the timing cover seal. I recently replaced the valve cover gaskets, oil pan and thermostat housing gaskets with Permatex seals. New thermostat & coolant, and I use synthetic oil. Has trans cooler, flex fan and shroud and overflow tank. No coolant leaks or overheat issues. The only reason why I am selling it is because I need the garage space and cash for my next car.
