For auction is a 1976 Triumph TR6 with very low miles. We purchased this car in 2002 from an individual who was in the process of restoring it and lost interest in the project. We finished the restoration and made this car into a summer driver for my wife. This is NOT a show car and the paint is chipped and nicked in several places on the body, but it is a good solid vehicle and a dependable driver to anywhere. The wood dashboard could stand to be sanded and refinished as the sealer is lifting in some spots. The hood latch does need to be replaced, but since it lifts from the rear, we never bothered to replace it. Items we have replaced during the finish of the restoration: New convertible top, new upholsery and padding, new carpeting, lever type shocks were replaced with tube style shock absorber conversion, master brake cylinder rebuilt, starter replaced with a hitachi high dependability starter ( we went through 2 original starters before we discovered the best starter available for these cars). Tires are very good. We have extra parts, tuneup kits, distributor cap, interior parts etc which will be included with the car. This car has the dual Stromburg Carbs and is a strong runner! This is a no reserve auction as we are downsizing and my wife doesn't drive this car much anymore. We require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit by paypal within 24 hours of the auctions close. The car must be paid for in full and removed from our property within 7 days of the close of the auction.
