* NO RESERVE * Priced to Sell, One Super Clean, Low Mileage, 2004 Honda CB 599 Naked (Hornet) This is my little sister's bike actually, but she moved to Switzerland last year, so she has asked me to sell it for her. The bike has 11,995 miles on it. I have changed the oil and filter with Amsoil synthetic motorcycle oil, but other than that, I really don't know much about the maintenance history. The bike runs well, although, knowing my sister, probably needs spark plugs. This is a 4 cylinder (straight slant), 599 cc liquid cooled engine (w/temp gage), that loves to rev like crazy. You'll see in the photo of the tach that it redlines at 13,000 rpm. That's about all I know about this engine. We put a new battery in it last year. Selling in "As Is" condition, which is "excellent". Guaranteed to start first try, and run like crazy, or your money back. As far as wear and tear, I've noticed a small scuff on the black pinstripe across the tail (see photo close-up). There is also a small scuff on one of the silver side frame bars. This style of bike I understand is known as a "naked", with very simple classic form, no fairing, and simple or no body panels. It's nice and light, easy to maneuver, and accelerates like a bottle rocket. I understand in Europe, these bikes are just called "Hornets", which is what this one looks like, bright yellow (bright bright), and black.... or is that a yellow jacket? We've got the clear NJ title, Owners Manual, original sales literature, etc. It also comes with the little optional handle bar weights, I'm told for vibration control? But I've driven this bike at speed, and it feels very comfortable to me, very little vibration. It has a cargo net under the seat.
