The story on this Classic Muscle Car is as follows: The car was purchased in Fairfax VA from Fairfax Chrysler Plymouth on September 24, 1970. The couple that purchased the car did not like the Magnum j50 wheels that were on the car so the dealer switched out the 500’s for the Rally wheels that are still on it. They drove the car until 1985 when they gave it to their son. You can figure out the rest. In 1985 their son went off the road and hit a series of mail boxes. This is the damage on the passenger side of the car. Father and son decided they would put the car in the garage and restore it. It sat in the garage until 2005 when they lost storage, then sat in the driveway until 2009 still with the intentions to restore this classic muscle car. That is when I came across it and purchased the car. This beauty of a car is it is an original 1970 Roadrunner that is numbers matching with a build sheet and a fender tag. Where do you find a these classics today? There are not many original numbers matching cars left. This Roadrunner has a 383ci engine with 335hp, and 727 automatic. It comes with the original Air Grabber hood that works. It has a factory installed 8-track player, manual brakes, _____________ steering. The only thing that I found that is not according to the build sheet is the wheels that I mentioned and the bucket seats. The car was built with a bench seat. This Classic runs great with lots of power, shifts with no problem. Front brakes are new with all new hardware, but the wheel cylinder needs to be replaced, is started leaking on one side. Rear brakes need to be done as well. Body on this Classic needs restoration. It needs quarters, floors and trunk pan to be done right. This car deserves to be done right and this car deserves to be done right and brought back to its former glory. All parts are available for the restoration and are not that expensive. You could just repair the brakes and drive it with very little work and restore it as you enjoy it, or restore it all at once. I am selling this Roadrunner as a project. There are no warranties or guarantees on this vehicle. If you are looking for a great investment this is it. Numbers matching, build sheet, fender tag, and a good original muscle car. Don’t miss this opportunity. The price of this classic is only going up. I will not give out the reserve bid, so bid to where you are comfortable. I will entertain offers. Don’t miss out on this chance to own a piece of American Muscle Car History. Any questions please e-mail me. Remember this is a project car. Ebay is not a game. Please bid to own. Make sure you have your finances in order. Winning bid is not first refusal. Winning bid means you own the vehicle!!!! Make sure you can follow payment instructions. If you have any problems or questions please contact me. This will be the last time the car will be listed as a whole car if it dosn't sell i will consider parting it out. This would be a shame because of the rarity of this car # matching and build sheet this would be a big dollar car if done. Might consider some trades .
