Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible, 2 door coupe, Series 30, Model 76D, Vehicle Identification #: 3F03L234461. This is a two owner car and has 109,000 original miles on it. 1973 was the final year of the soft-top Mustang convertible. It accounted for 16% of the 74,153 Mustangs built that year. The six cylinder convertible was notably rarer, with only 690 such variants coming off the line. This car has been stored in the winter and is in excellent condition. The power top was replaced in approximately 1980 and is in great condition. The car was repainted it's original blue in 1991 and is excellent condition. The car has stock steel 14" X 5.5" drop center rims. The original interior is well maintained except the door trim panels were replaced in 1991. It shows no unusual wear or soiling and is the "Comfort-Weave" vinyl. Steering wheel is large diameter Deluxe, 2-spoke with simulated woodtone insert. Instrument panel is symmetrical 3-pod lay out with large glove box and left and right vent registers. The floor shifter is fitted on the tunnel for automatic transmission. Door trim panels have woodtone applique inserts and molded pull handles. Other features include but not limited to: "Direct-Aire" ventilation system, 10" long arm rests, lighter, electric clock, nylon color keyed carpet wall to wall, automatic transmission, mini console, padded dual sun visors, power brakes, power steering, manual window lifts, and AM/FM stereo. Engine/Drive-Train - 250 cid, 2v carbureted, overhead valve, in-line six cylinder engine, coupled with a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic torque converter transmission. Engine has been tuned and regularly maintained and driven occasionally in recent years. The car has recently received carburetor rebuild and around $1000 in professional mechanical tune-up work and is currently in excellent running condition. The pictures of the engine compartment do not represent the condition it is in now because when the tune up work was done, the engine area was cleaned and looks much better, unfortunately I was unable to get pictures of its current look. The vehicle is currently garaged in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Buyer would be responsible for pick-up and/or all costs associated with delivery.
