Vehicle Detail
This is a very rare Pontiac 6000 STE AWD with all the available options including the dealer installed car phone ! This car is one in a million and my opinion is this car is as close to new condition as you will ever find in one of these. The paint and the interior are in great shape and all the toys appear to be working properly including the power antenna, the 8 way lumbar support, the electronic ride leveling suspension, the ABS, the steering wheel radio controls, the power seats, for the most part all the digital toys are working great. I bought the car about a year ago, drove it 8 hours home and it has been in my garage ever since, except for some trips around the block and to the gas station. Seems to start and run as it should I have very few problem areas to report on this vehicle. However I have not driven it very much so I am describing to the best of my knowledge. The known problems with the car are.. The A/C was blowing cold and now is blowing very little cold The headliner has been tacked up because it was falling Exhaust seems loud to me, may have a leak, not sure however The CD player reportedly does not work but I have not personally tried it Small oil drip from the lower seal, not a major leak at all and is common for these cars. Not a big problem just an annoying drip on the garage floor once in a while. The odometer is showing 185,000 miles which is innaccurate, about a month ago I was driving the car and the number 1 (in the 6th positiion) on the digital dash decided to light up and stay on no matter what. You can see in the pictures that the number 1 just stays on. To prove this is not a lie, it shows the correct mileage in Kilometers which does convert to 85000 miles. And one look and drive of the car and you will know it does not have over 100k miles on it. I have added a picture of the trip odometer mode and you can see the number 1 remains lit. I have no idea how to fix the problem. I never titled the car in my name it has a clear IOWA title that can just be signed by you, no notary requiered. If you have questions please ask I have described the car to the best of my knowledge.
