Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1998 Lexus ES300. This has been a great car and has served me well but I have moved on to a Toyota 4Runner. Service has been performed by a local Toyota/Lexus Service Center. Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles, tires are in great shape, brakes and rotors have been kept up and have plenty of wear left. The exterior has absolutely NO rust, a couple of door dings and chips as would be usual for its age but overall a very clean looking exterior. It is parked under a carport and stays out of the weather. The interior is in great shape with no major tears or rips. The drivers side seat has one seam that has separated a little. It is about an inch long on the left side of the seat. It has been that way since I bought the car 3 years ago. The previous owner was a middle aged woman that works in my office so the miles have been carefully driven. The check engine light has been on since before I purchased the car. I have been assured by the service manager that this is not an issue. See the following link under "check engine light" for a reference. http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1997-to-2001-lexus-es-300-2.htm There are no other blemishes in the interior of the car. All windows, lights, etc are operational. The trunk release button works only intermittently. I just use a key in the trunk. The power seats work great and the transmission shifts perfectly. This car gets good gas mileage, has good power for interstate passing when you need it, and is a very comfortable reliable ride. Feel free to call me if you have further questions or if you would like to drive it before bidding. I have sold cars on ebay before several times and have always had positive experiences. I am glad to send you additional pictures if there is something specific you would like to see. All windows, lights, etc are operational. The trunk release button works only intermittently. Update* Trunk release button works fine. I found a button in the glove box that disables the trunk release so that a valet can't get in the trunk. Also I forgot to mention the 6 disc CD changer in glove box.
