Probably one of the finest examples of an un-restored 4-door 6 passenger Zephyr sedan in the country! This California only car is basically un-restored, and is one of those "barn finds" that you hear about once in a while. It only has 33,000 original miles. Original paint, glass, rubber, and most importantly, the original flat-head V-12! The interior is in excellent condition. The dash is very patina'd with age, but all of the switches and knobs are original and work (except the original clock). NO RUST! Even though the sedans were produced in much larger numbers than the coup's and convertibles, they weren't as popular to collectors, so there seems to be fewer of the sedan left these days, with only 32 6-passenger sedans registered with the Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club (which this is one of them). Before I bought the car, I got an independent appraisal of $28,250, and have not done a thing to it except put about 100 miles on it and replaced the 6-volt battery with a new one. To the new owner includes lots of extra parts: extra set of iron heads; intake manifold; two exhaust manifolds; two water pumps; oil pan; a set of 12 pistons and rods; the aerodynamic piece that fits between the back bumper and body; and about a foot high stack of manuals , paperwork, and hard to find parts for this car. If someone were to completely restore it (less than a $4000 investment) this car could be worth in excess of $65,000 or more. I needed to get a loan to purchase the car and it is held by a credit union in southern California.
