This Lincoln was in storage in Michigan for the last few years, but spent most of its life in Texas. As a result of its Texas heritage, the paint is faded, and the dashboard and vinyl top are both cracked. On the upside, the chrome is nice, the bumpers are solid, and the undercarriage is remarkably clean. Areas of rust will be evident in the photos. 460 motor, 3-speed automatic transmission. The major mechanicals are in good shape, with the exception of a few items needing maintenance. The car starts reliably, runs well, and drives OK. I used it as a daily driver for two weeks during the summer of 2009. The brakes will need service on account of a vibration (warped rotor). One or both of the U-joints will need to be replaced soon. The interior is in serviceable condition. Seats are OK, though the driver's seat shows some wear and some areas are sun faded. Carpet shows wear/stains, but isn't cut or burned. Headliner in good shape except for one quarter-sized hole. Some power options/features are functional, and others not. Power locks OK. Driver's window will go up and down, but only with assistance (seems like worn gear teeth on motor and/or mechanism). Passenger window OK. Radio non-op. Climate controls OK, but A/C non-op. Driver's seat controls suffered a 'meltdown' at some point, so power seat presently non-op. Passenger seat OK. Cruise OK. Lights/indicators/gauges OK. Tilt steering wheel. Rear-view mirror missing.
