Up for sale is my 1978 pontiac firebird-trans am. When the car was released off the line out of California, it came out as a base firebird with a 305 bbl V8. The owners before us in the last 30 years have altered the car to be a Firebird-Trans Am. Now everything under the hood is brand new. Ive recently put in a BRAND NEW CRATE MOTOR a 350 from Oreillys into the car. I have eighty percent of all the recipts on the motor. It is a brand new crate motor 5.7 liter v8. The motor is under a three year warrenty through oreilys and only has about 100 miles on it. Unfortunatlry the warranty will not transfer from person to person, but Ive be reassured that if something were to happen that they would try they best to solve any issues. It also has a new electric fan new raditor new hooker headers and full exhaust. Its not very loud but sounds very mean. the mufflers are trush mufflers and they are bran new as well. The wheels are less than a year old the front tires are cooper cobras and the rear tires have about fifty percent tread left on them cause before the brand new small block was installed it had a big block 454 in it. U can probably guess what happened to the back tires. Since the motor swap the car is very easy on gas and gets drove every other day with no problems. The transmission is a turbo 350 but needs new seals in cause it does have a leak or two. It doesnt slip or anything like that but i just hate having leaks. The interior is fair considering its age. The interior is black, the seats have very minimal cracks in them. This is good considering the age of them. The previous owner cut holes out in the door to install speakers and a radio but never did, and I havent done so either. The doorhandles on the outside are aftermarket. The door handle on the passenger door is loose. I have not done much with the car since it has come to me, I was in the process of replacing the gauges, so far only the oil, temp and gas gauages work. Was hopeing to find an aftermarket cluster to install. There are many new parts to many to list. I have over 5000 in the brand new crate motor alone. everything on the motor is new. nothing rebuilt NEW. I have 1000 dollars in wheels and tires. Not to mention what i paid for the car itsself. First 7500 takes it home. I have title in hand to the winning bidder. The title is clean and clear. I would consider trading for a truck extended cab diesol 3/4 ton. No JUNK. Before i forget this is a orginal four speed car but is now a automatic the clutch pedal is still in it so if u wanted a four speed just come up with the pieces and put it together thanks for looking and good luck.
