1953 Cadillac 14' Fishing

This is a very cool old lightweight aluminum fishing boat by the famous Cadillac boat company of Cadillac, Michigan. This boat company has been out of business for decades. They made top of the line fishing and runabout boats back in the 1950's and 1960's. This great old 4 seat 14' fishing boat is as functional today as it was when it was made in the 1950's. It is very light for a wide and deep aluminum boat. The max beam width of 61" and the max depth of 26" are exceptional for a boat that only weighs 205 lbs. It is rated at a max of 35 horsepower but a 10 horse will really move this little sweetheart of a boat. It comes with an innovative (for its time) drain plug in the bottom of the bottom that is shaped so that you could open it up when you were going across the lake to drain the water out. The boat is equipped with two folding, swivel cusioned seats and it also has a wonderful old pair of wooden oars. I have included a copy of the sales brochure below.
