This 1977 CJ 7 Jeep has been in my control since October of 1993. I bought it as a barn find from an elderly man who used it to go hunting and fishing. He had it repainted and undercoated.My wife drove it untill 1997 when I discovered the frame rust and pulled it from the road. Since then, untill a few months ago ,it sat next our barn waiting for it's chance to be "revived". On occasion we would put some fuel in it and take a lap around the hay field and then park it. I am a believer in STA-BIL additive because it always started and ran good. I have changed priorities and am into 64-65 Skylarks and no longer want the Jeep 92870 ACTUAL MILES... This includes a full fiberglass hard top and steel doors,with rust. 31 X10.50 15 lt Radial mud and snow tires with an average 10/32 tread, new were 12/32. I have repaired the frame using J channel where it was boxed thin steel . It runs GREAT, shifts GREAT and drives GREAT. The 304 statrs with NO smoke or rattles. The Automatic transmission shifts good. It has high/low range transfercase,but I have not tried the 4 wheel drive. It is a Quadtratrac. The body is RUSTED. No other way to say it. The frame seems solid but no guarantees. Windshield wipers,heater fan,turn signals, most lights work Glass is good. Horn. not working. The fuel tank is currently not in the Jeep,I took it out to repair the frame. The sender is bad- not working. I can reinstall the tank if buyer wants. I use an electric pump and small tank to drive the Jeep and will use to load.
