Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge Challenger. I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful Mopar and she is in great condition. Since purchasing the vehicle "Hotchkis" subframe connectors have been installed and racing harness belts with camlocks. The car comes with the original seat belts if someone would like to reinstall them. I bought the car with just over 90,000 original miles on it and have only added a couple thousand since owning it. I bought the car while still in Iraq and am being sent back overseas to Afghanistan for awhile so I would like to see the car go to someone else who has the time and passion for this gorgeous Mopar. The car is beautiful front to back and in excellent condition. The engine and transmission are the originals and have both been rebuilt by professionals. The 727 transmission has a manual valve body and a 3,000 RPM stall converter. The engine is the original 318 that has been bored .030 over to a 360 with 11.5 to 1 compression. A quick run down of what has been done to the car: Edelbrock Performer RPM heads Roller Rockers Holley 750 cfm racing carburetor Edelbrock High Rise aluminum intake manifold Dynomax ceramic coated full tube headers with true dual exhaust and "H" pipe with Flowmaster exhaust MSD box and coil 8 3/4 axle with new Richmond 3.55 rear gear Auburn posi traction unit Cragar Drag-Lite alloy Wheels R/T hood, valance, gas cap, and "tips" Hotchkis sub frame connectors New windshield, radiator, gas tank, fuel pump, oil pan, oil pump, alternator / regulator and battery New wire harness (front and rear) New interior door panels and rear seat interior panels New dash pad New carpet New trunk floor pan New ball joints There has been a lot of time and effort put into making and keeping this car beautiful and high performance. Also, even though this car is not a true R/T or T/A it does have the heavy duty high performance suspension from the factory with the 11" rotors and front and rear sway bars. It does have power steering and power brakes. It is the original factory sublime green color that has been repainted to match. The car has had much more done to it inside and out while still retaining its authenticity. The paint, though newer, does have a few common little knicks and in it. The car also has a nice flip face CD player in it along with Kenwood 6x9 3-way speakers and amplifier. I am selling the car for what I paid for it, not trying to profit, just don't want her to sit for a couple years. If you have anymore questions or concerns please contact me at reconspec1997@yahoo.com. You will not be disappointed! Thank you. On Jul-17-10 at 09:48:07 PDT, seller added the following information:My apologies to everyone interested in the car. I recently discovered that the engine is not the original engine. It is a damned good engine, however unfortunately not the original. Also, I am apparently the 4th owner not the 3rd. Everything else in the listing is true and accurate including the original milage. Again I apologize for the inconvenience. I bought the car with very little knowledge, of its history and factual knowings. I have been extremely impressed and happy with the car. I hate to give her up. Like I said you will not be disappointed! Any other questions or inquiries please feel free to contact me on my personal cell (574)216-5180. Thank you.... Chris
