1983 GMC 4X4 2500 Series Suburban Seirra Classic L@@k at the condition of this Low Mileage Truck Up for auction is this: 1983 GMC 4X4 2500 Series 3/4 Ton Suburban.. I was told this was an Arizona truck most of it's life, I purchased the truck from a Dealer in Ohio who is said to have aquired it from an Estate sale. I am inclined to believe it because of the absence of any rust, The dealer did advise me the headliner was hanging in some spots, very consistent in sunny hot areas. I had a brand new complete headliner installed as soon as I got the truck.. The truck is powered by the ultra reliable and powerful 350 cubic inch small block the transmission is a 700R4 4 Speed Overdrive, which improves low speed torque and has the Overdrive for improved fuel consumption on the hiway.. The Dana 60 Rear Axle is a Locking Posi Traction unit with 3:70 Ratio and floating rear axles.. The truck is in remarkably great shape. Everything operates and works as it should. The truck has 48,000 miles on it, is very tight and runs and stops great.. The A/C is Ice Cold and the truck don't smoke or use any oil.. When I bought I installed a new complete exhaust system and a new class 3 Trailer Hitch Reciever and 7 pin trailer plug, the plug also has an optional 4 pin U-haul type plug.. The 4 shocks were also replaced, 4 new all terain tires were also mounted, balanced and installed on aluminum American Racing wheels.. other options include, intermittant delay wipers, cruise control, power door locks, power rear tailgate window (works great) electric rear defroster, AM/FM Stereo Casseate Player, Door Pockets, Warn 4X4 Free Wheeling Front Hubs (save fuel cosumption and reduce wear of front axle assembly), Center Council with bucket seats, Front Tow hooks, Roof Luggage Rack and Rear Air Deflector.. The truck has the manual shift lever to engage the 4 wheel drive, I like this style, it always assurres me it is fully engaged and disengaged. It also has a dash light that indicates when the 4X4 is engaged. Check the Car Fax details.. The mileage has been confirmed on several occassions and this vehicle has never been in an accident. confirming what has been desribed. The truck was just completely tuned up, New wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve, spark plugs, air and gas filters, new valve cover gaskets and all new Polution air tubes, new belts, Accell Ignition coil... The transmission was serviced and added a new B&M Shift kit, filter and the fluid replaced.. I also installed a new Thermostate and gasket to insure no problems.. I pull my boat every weekend and the truck never runs close to hot, it can idle on the hottest days and never run over 200 degrees.. There are some chips on the lower body paint consistant with daily use, there are no dents, absolutely no rust or rot and the paint shines up like new when washed and waxed... The interior is also very clean with the only floor being a small wear mark on the drivers seat which has started to become a small hole.. This truck is really in great shape.. No rust or rot anywhere.. Low mileage.. absolutely solid.. it has very tight and firm ride, it's dependable and runs great.. It's also great off the road and in the snow or mud... There is a matching spare tire and the original jack is still mounted under the hood... The window washers even still work.. The truck has the factory dark tinted side privacy glass and the drivers and passenger windows have also been tinted.. I have already done all the periodic maintinace service to the truck.. Drive this truck absolutely anywhere in complete confidence... I have attempted to desribe this vehicle to the best of my ability, Bid with confidence there are no surprizes with this vehicle..
