This is a like-new top of the line GT Premium with only 6300 miles. It is a real head turner sporting Ford’s Redfire metallic paint. As a GT Premium, it contains many standard upgrades not included in the GT Deluxe. Among these are leather trimmed sport bucket seats, a Shaker 500 audio system with AM/FM stereo, 6 disc in-dash CD changer, 8 speakers and MP3 capability (500 watts). Optional extras include an automatic tranny, 17” bright machined-aluminum wheels, an active anti-theft system and a wheel lock kit. The car is further enhanced by the addition of the Red Interior Upgrade Package that includes red leather sport bucket seats, red door inserts and red floor mats. For my taste, the mats added too much red, so I purchased higher quality black mats (4) with red GT accent lettering in front. Another feature is the Interior Upgrade Package that includes a 6 gauge instrument cluster with the popular MyColor feature that allows you to choose dash illumination from among 125 colors. Also included is a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. To further brighten up the interior, this package features satin-aluminum finish on the steering wheel spokes, air vents, door handles, shift lever and instrument panel. To personalize the car, I replaced the rear quarter windows with a set of louvered windows manufactured and match painted by Silver Horse Racing. These are the only such windows that are flush mounted and designed to retain driver visibility. I had them professionally installed at a local body shop. A bit pricey but well worth. I also replaced the tall mast antenna with a shorty version and added red accent covers to the exterior rear-view mirrors. On ebay I located a couple of 2005 sales brochures that featured a Mustang GT in the same color and trim. These will go with the car along with a Chilton repair manual.
