Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a fresh 56 Ford Truck F100 that has recently been completed. The truck represents a full restoration with only 3,000 miles since completion. Please read below for the particulars of the build: Body/Paint: All original Ford steel with no body modifications with the exception of the bed. Steel patch panels used on all 4 bottom corners of the cab. All body panels were blasted to bare metal, primed and blocked. Very straight sheet metal. No rust anywhere on the truck. The bed box is new aftermarket. Base/clear paint, mid 80's chev factory colors. Burgundy/Silver metallic. The entire truck was painted disassembled. Oak bed with fuel fill. Gas tank is polished aluminum mounted under bed. Bed rails are filled and smoothed. No stake post with tailgate all steel welded shut. Interior: Chev 80's bench seat recovered. Cab interior kit, headliner, etc. New gray carpet is installed with only trimming needed for final installation. "I did it" polished aluminum tilt steering column. electric wipers, New wiring harness throughout, all new switches, JVC CD player with 2 amps and 4 speakers. All new glass all the way around with all new rubber moldings. New gauges cluster with polished aluminum bezel. Engine: Stock mid 70's Mustang 302 V8 out of a very low mileage car. Heads were rebuilt. Edelbrock performer aluminum intake with Edelbrock 600 CFM carb, with power steering. Chrome shorty headers, new MSD ignition and distributor. Trans: C4 out of the same low mileage donor Mustang with shift kit added. B&M ratchet shifter. Exhaust: New 2 inch pipes with flow master mufflers. Sounds awesome. Wheels/Tires: New chrome wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/As tires. Front: 235/60-15 inch, Rear: 265/50-15 inch. Brakes: Front power disc brakes off of a Varlarie, rear drum 9 inch with booster mounted to frame. Frame/suspension: Valarie front clip with an after market 4 link with coil over, 9 inch Ford (tall highway gears for good gass mileage) rear end custom mounted to a stock original 56 Truck frame bead blasted and painted. Very nice! The front and rear suspension height can be adjusted for preferred stance. Other: All new emblems, door handles and bright work all stainless steel. New polished aluminum front bumper. Everything works with the exception of the heater. The heater assembly is rebuilt and hooked up to the hoses. Electrical wires have not been hooked up to run the fan yet. No A/C. Summary: This truck represents a very well built, totally restored custom F100 ready for enjoyment. Only a few small details to finish and make your own. Perfect truck for everyday driver that shows very well. The asking price is reasonable and well below the cost of the build. 56's are the most sought after and collectable of the early to mid 50's Ford trucks. Why build one when you can own a fresh completed truck at as price much less than the cost to build one yourself. Don't let this one slip by
