Motor smokes a bit (I think it’s the valve seals as the motor is strong and idles okay, no overheating. this jeep sat for years without being run and they probably dried out and crumbled when I got her running, not too big a deal as this can be repaired without removing the cylinder head). Other than that the motor is good. The drivetrain is a manual 4 speed and it shifts good in all gears and transfer case ranges (4-hi, 4-low, 2-hi, n ). The clutch is okay but probably will need replaced or at least adjusted but is good enough to drive around or to load on a trailer as is. The brakes are all there and work but need to be bled/adjusted as well. The lights and wipers work as well as the ignition. It needs a good going over ( tune-up, vacuum lines, gaskets, belts, etc..) but all the major components are there and functional. This jeep is 25 years old so it’s going to need some work before hitting the open road. Okay, now the body… As you can see from the pictures the tub is pretty rough, it will probably need to be replaced or fixed if your good at bodywork. The hood, fenders, and grill have some surface rust but are usable. The frame is in good shape and aside from some surface rust here and there it’s a good solid platform to build from. This jeep also has power steering, ( a GREAT option as anyone who ever drove a jeep will tell you! ). This is a great starter for anyone looking to put together a running jeep for cheap, or do a full restoration. Would work as a great platform for parts also. The hard top goes with the jeep. The hardware on the top is pretty rusted but the fiberglass is okay aside from some minor scratches and dings. I have the glass and original window gaskets for it also. THIS JEEP IS FOR SALE AS IS. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. If you live close it could be driven but any distance will need to be trailered or dollied. I will deliver up to 150 miles for $1.50 a mile or with a $75.00 minimum charge. Payment will be made through pay-pal no C.O.D. There is no refunds so please know what you are buying. Like I said this is a great project jeep with title that runs and drives for cheap. Feel free to ask questions, I am not a certified mechanic but have been working on cars and trucks my whole life and will do my best to answer you. I know there are scammers out there but I am not one of them. I have had my time wasted many times before by less than honest people and took to the cleaners a few times too. I believe in honest dealing, my integrity is worth more to me than a couple hundred bucks. I am not a professional seller, just a guy who bought this jeep planning to put it on the road but don’t have the time to dedicate to it anymore and I need the space it’s in.
