This is a really nice 1959 Shorty Ford Panel truck with a great running 5.0 (302) motor and an automatic transmission with overdrive. The 5.0 was originally a fuel injected computer motor but I am old school and spent a lot of time and money to convert it over. It has a new highly polished aluminum intake and holly 4 bbl carb. The distributor is brand new billet one wire HEI gm type with vacuum advance. It has a gm alternator with internal regulator. I wanted to keep everything simple. The chrome valve covers are new as well as the polished stainless headers. I installed a new master cylinder along with most the brake lines and brake hoses. New front carpet, power split bench seat that is hooked up and power windows. The power windows are functional but are currently plexiglass as are the back door windows. . The tires and wheels are new with the stickers still on them 50's on the back 10" wheels and 60's on the front 8" wheels. The body is solid and the paint is custom base clear urethane and looks great although it hasn't been buffed yet. This truck runs great but needs more to be completed such as some wiring for the headlights and gauges, the shifter for the tranny is hooked up to the old column shift lever to make it drivable but it really needs a better setup such as a floor shifter or better column shifter and it needs some other stuff for completion. I have driven her down the road around 10 miles and from my shop to my home and it ran good but due to the incompletion as stated above I would recommend transport for a trip over 100 miles. I hate to call this a project truck because so much has been done but please keep in mind it is a work in progress and is not a restored show truck. I was building this truck as a daily driver but need to sell her in her present AS IS condition. Please feel free to ask questions about any specific details you may want to know.
