Vehicle Detail
I am listing this outstanding show car/street rod for an eBay-illiterate friend. Questions should be directed to him for fastest response. I will include his contact information at the end of the listing. Offered is an outstanding 1931 Model A Two-Door Sedan street rod, completed three years ago. Basics--all-steel body, full steel fendered '31 Ford Sedan on a complete TCI chassis painted Sherwood Green with black fenders. This rod is powered by a 350 Chevy Va with 350 Hydramatic transmission, 9" Ford rear end, and Flowmaster exhaust system. The Walker radiator is covered by a 1932 Ford grill shell. Front wheels have disc brakes with drum brakes on the rear wheels. Briz ribbed aluminum bumpers, four-gar and coil overs with chrome front shocks. The car has a steel floor, and is tubbed for wide rear tires, running 14" front tires and 15" rear tires. The tires are mounted on American Torque Thrust "D" wheels. Inside is a 1932 hand-pinstriped custom dash with VDO gold trim gauges, speedometer, tach and digital odometer. electrical features include a new wiring harness, plugs and wires. A "Vintage" air conditioning system is installed in the front cowl with dash vents and kick panel vents. The steering column is a GM tilt column and is topped by a "Grant" steering wheel. Interior features tan fabric seats with dark brown carpet. The front seats are by Nissan and the rear seat is from a Chrysler minivan. There is a Continental kit with recessed license plate and hand pinstriping. The taillights with LED lights are from a 1950 Pontiac. A CD/stereo radio is mounted under the front seat, and the gas tank is a 1932 model. The car weighs in at 2600 pounds, and the stock 350 engine with 4-barrell carb makes the car run like the engine has been bored and stroked. The car is being sold with a matching show trailer which holds a vintage steel ice chest, carped interior and 14" wheels with moon wheel covers. The tail lights on the trailer are from a 1932 Ford. Questions about this outstanding custom street rod should be directed to Paul Poston in Temple, Texas. His office phone number is 254-774-9090 and his cell phone is 254-913-9090. Winning bidder is required to pay a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction, with the balance due at time of delivery. Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. If the buyer wants to drive the car home, we will meet your flight at Killeen International Airport. A clear title will be provided when the vehicle is picked up. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! On Jul-08-10 at 09:00:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a couple of editorial changes. The engine is obviously a V8, not a Va. Also, the travel trailer has a carpeted interior, not a carped interior. Sorry about the typos. Also, this car was built about six years ago
