A nice a MG Midget you will find anywhere. All original, has never seen snow ever. No rust, fully undercoated. I am the third owner and recently purchased it in late May. This car runs like a top. Review all the pictures and you will see that this is a very special car. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I am 6'1 with long gangly legs and it is too small for me to get in and out of it. Why did I buy it? I was actually looking for an MGB or TR6 but couldn't find a local one in good condition. I got caught up in the excitement of finding such a nice MG in such great shape and it was a local buy. I bought it with the top down, didnt even think about the problem of getting in and out of it with the top up.If you are taller than 6', I would really suggest you look for a different car! The first owner purchased it new and owned it from 1978 to 1986. Never driven in Michigan winters. The second owner owned it from 1986 until I purchased it. He was an older gentleman who was downsizing and selling his "toys". He only drove it 600 miles in the last two years. He also garaged it all the time and never saw a Michigan winter. He replaced many hoses that had deteriorated over time. This car is practically perfect. There are only three items that need attention. To the right of the trunk handle there are a few dings but no paint chips. It is so slight I couldnt get a clear picture of it. The other item is the rubber clips for the two sun visors. They have lost their elasticity and wont hold the visor in place. I will order two of them and mail them to the successful bidder. The third item is the plastic windows in the top. As usual they fog and fade and considering everything is original, this is a usual occurance. If I was going to keep the car, I would have new plastic window sewn in with a zipper. (The original does not have a zipper). This way you could keep the top up and be able to zipper down the window. Included is the tanneau cover (in pictures), dust cover, and boot (in pictures). Manual, touch up paint that owner #2 gave me. Extra oil filters too. This Midget gets 30+ mpg on the highway. It is a real head-turner!
