1964 1/2 Mustang convertible project needs total restoration. V.I.N # 5F08DXXXXXX. Body 76AM8505F2116 with all body tags. Originally Wilmington white with red interior. This is a rare color combo from the factory to all the Ford dealers in the U.S. that sold over 100 mustangs that year. Has a running 4 barrel 289ci V8 engine that needs to be rebuilt due to smoking and shaking and not road worthy but has all the original parts. The body is in rough but repairable shape with the floor boards and trunk floor needs to be replaced. The frame rails, rockers, and shock towers are fine. The left and right quarter panels needs to be replaced due to rust issues. The front fenders have rust at the bottom and needs to be replaced. The glass is complete but dull and has a few cracks due to being outside for a long time. I have the original wire hubcaps. The car has a big dent in the on the drivers side quarter panel. The drivers door either needs repaired or replaced. The car is equipped with power top, steering and brakes. Some of the moldings are missing but all the convertible moldings i have. The interior needs full restoration and the seats need recovering. The car will need to be towed or trailered. Over all the car is a full restoration project.
