This is a 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x2 with a 351M 2v and a C-6 automatic transmission. I had to replace the engine approx. 2yrs. ago with an O'reilly rebuilt engine. The engine itself has approx. 3 to 5 thousand miles on it. I also put a manual choke on the carburetor, and installed a trans cooler for pulling a trailer. I also replaced the rear drums, rear brakes, emergency brake cables, starter, water pump, fuel pump, carburetor, and radiator. The truck starts right up and runs good. I replaced the transmission filter when I replaced the engine and the transmission fluid always looked clean. The transmission never gave me any problems. Truck has no air conditioning but the system is still intact minus the compressor and the heater works great. The body of the truck is in fairly good shape with the exceptions of the rust spots I photographed. Majority of the rust being on the hood and cab. Underneath the truck is really clean. The bed has a spray in bed liner. The driver side door has a small leak at the top when it rains and has caused the carpet to mold in two spot. All of the lights work, but the blinker and the passengers side door switches have to be replaced. The reverse lights work, but I couldn't find a switch to replace the old one.
