NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!! I've relisted this old classic because of a non-paying, no-show Bidder... Well, here you go boys! A project that I just can't get to anytime soon and the War Department (the wife) said get to it or get rid of it. So it's gotta go. What we have here is a 1939 Pontiac four door sedan for restore. The drivetrain is still intact (not running). The doors are solid along with the interior floor pans. The usual rust areas on these 70 year old Fisher bodies is the rear trunk pan and as you can see this one is rusted and needs replacing. On the ground is a display of trim parts, bumpers, original radiator.... Which is repairable and some very nice grille inserts, headlight pans, rocker panels, and a section of the rear trunk pan to replace the rusted area. This car also has a clear Texas title. Do I need to explain that it is NOT in running condition; well it ain't! It does - however - roll around very well and can be loaded with ease onto a transport. Also this has an original factory installed Pontiac radio unit still in the car including the control section on top of the dash. Also has factory heater unit. Steering gear works great and needs nothing. Brakes are still on the car but I don't know about the operating condition. Having built several of these old four door Fisher cars over the years I know that they make great driving and running street rods and have lots of room for four people to ride in comfort. Okay! So the fenders are hammered and a couple will have to be replaced, but it is seventy plus years. Any part needed is available for these sedans, from carpeting, window glass, knobs, interior trim, screws and engine parts. Just search Ebay for listings or see www.partsfor pontiacs.com. The windscreen trim and the rear window trim are not shown, but are included with the car. Also not shown are a set of bumper brackets that will come in the deal. Just wanted to clear that up to avoid any problems. :-)
