Vehicle Detail

Offered here is a beautiful full custom 2004 Honda VTX 1300, with only 808 actual miles. The bike has custom American Suspension chrome forks and bars, custom (Jardine 2:2 2-1/4 in. Straight Cut Drag Pipes) chrome exhaust, custom chrome wheels with Metzler 130/60 VR 18 front, and 240/40 VR 18 rear tires, custom tank, and custom paint (yellow with blue stripes). The bike has been pampered and garage kept since new. The story of the bike is that of a recently widowed woman who decided she wanted a motorcycle. The salespeople at the Honda dealer sold her the VTX 1300, even though she had not ever ridden a bike before. The original owner, money not being an issue, took the bike straight from the dealer and to a bike shop, where it was customized. The work includes custom taillights, custom paintwork that included painting the top fins of the cylinders of the 1312 cc V-twin in the same yellow color. According to the original owner, approximately $24,000 was spent on the bike. The current owner of the bike, my neighbor, has had the bike about 2 years, and in that 2 years put about 700 or so miles on it. I know it's cliche' to say a metric cruiser sounds like a Harley, but this one truly does..In fact it sounds better than many Harleys I've heard. He simply doesn't have time to enjoy the bike, so has decided to offer it here on Ebay. What this bike offers is the look, feel and sound of a custom big-bore V-twin cruiser, with the reliability of a Honda. Also, since it has so few miles and has been so well looked after, it is essentially a new bike. It's being offered here for far less that it would cost to build such a bike from new. I'm sure there are details of the bike that I have overlooked, and that those of you who are familar with the VTX and parts available for it will no doubt notice this. I am not the owner of the bike, rather I am selling it for my neighbor. I would like to point out that payment methods acceptable to the seller include cash (obviously), postal money order, and cashier's check that is verifiable as valid before the bike is released to the buyer. Please read the terms fully before bidding. One more thing, and I hate to have to say this, but, folks, this is one helluva nice bike, and I know alot of people will like it, but PLEASE do not bid if you don't have the money, or aren't serious about going through with the transaction. You're bidding to BUY, not haggle like at a used car lot or just back out. I've done alot of business on Ebay over the years and I don't treat Ebay like a game. On Jun-19-10 at 12:13:14 PDT, seller added the following information: 0 feedback bidders, must contact me prior to bidding. Also, people of foreign origin, if they are likely to have trouble completing the transaction due to unfamiliarity with the language, our laws, or how Ebay works, are advised not to bid.
