2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata MazdaSpeed Edition
This is a beautiful and hard to find 2004 MazdaSpeed Miata. This turbocharged Miata is nicely equipped with two tone premium cloth seats, Bose sound system with CD changer, cruise control, keyless entry, and special 17 inch Racinghart alloy wheels. Under the hood you will find the powerful and efficient 1.8 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine and a 6 speed manual transmission. This Mazda is in excellent condition inside and out. It is a joy to drive and gets admiring glances and comments everywhere I go.
History
This is a one owner convertible that was manufactured in February of 2004 and first registered in May of 2004. It has been registered in the state of Maryland since it was new. This Mazda appears to have been very well maintained and has a clear title history with no problems whatsoever.
Mechanical
This MX-5 is mechanically sound. It runs and drives like a new vehicle. The engine runs smooth and strong. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is strong with no slipping. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The underside of the vehicle is clean and dry with no leaks or rust. The steering and suspension are smooth and tight. This car has 4 new Yokohama tires. The tires do scrub the inner fender slightly on sharp turns as is normal for these cars when the tires have full tread. This car has nearly new brake pads and they stop this Mazda firmly and smoothly. We have just serviced this vehicle with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. We had it Virginia State inspected by an independent mechanic. This vehicle is ready to drive anywhere. It doesn't need anything.
Exterior
The exterior of this Miata is smooth and mirror shiny as you can see from the pictures. The beautiful Titanium Gray Metallic paint is in excellent condition. The top is in very good condition with no rips. There are a handful of very small rock chips on the front bumper and some of the black chrome finish on the wheels is worn(see pictures). These very minor cosmetic imperfections do not detract from the overall excellent appearance of this convertible. I would rate the exterior of this Mazda a 9 out of 10.
Interior
The interior of this vehicle is like new as well. The seats and carpet are clean with no tears or stains. This vehicle has not been smoked in. There is no smoke odor or other unusual or offensive odors. The only thing amiss on the interior is that the kick panel below the steering column is missing. You really don't even notice and it does give a little more clearance for your knee when shifting which is why a lot of people take them off. This Miata comes with one key and one keyless entry remote. It has the factory floor mats but the owners manuals are missing. The trunk is clean and dry. I would rate the interior a strong 9 out of 10.

Although we do our best to accurately describe each vehicle that we list, we will occasionally miss something. We will point out any defect that is not normal wear and tear. If possible we will take a picture of it so that you can see it better. Sometimes owners manuals, floormats, and extra sets of keys will be missing. Please feel free to contact us with requests for more pictures of specific areas. The winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end. We accept paypal for the deposit, but not for the remainder of the balance due. We prefer bank to bank wire transfers, bank drafts or cashiers checks for the balance. We will accept personal and business checks but the checks must clear both banks before vehicle and title are released (usually 7-10 days) We also accept loan checks from your bank, credit union, or from online lenders. Your trade-ins are also welcome. Please contact us before the end of the auction if you wish to trade a vehicle. We will not trade vehicles that have salvage or flood history or odometer problems. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. We try to describe the vehicles as completely as possible, however if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email us.
Honesty and integrity are very important to us. You are encouraged to come inspect the vehicle in person before the close of the auction, or have an inspection service to do it for you. Please call before you come as we are sometimes out of the office or have the vehicle at a different location. You are welcome to drive the vehicle before you make final payment. If you find that the vehicle is not as it was described in the listing you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit you have paid. This is only available if you come to our location to pick up the vehicle. If you have the vehicle shipped and wish to return it for a refund you will be responsible for the shipping charges both ways. Your trade-ins are welcome as well.
