You are bidding on a 1985 Ford F-600 that was originally a flat bed truck that was customized into a pickup. It has a fiberglass flip front end, 370 gas engine, standard transmission, sliding rear window, all new rear brakes complete with backing plates, hydraulic cylinders & lines, over $3000.00 invested in the brake system because the truck had been sitting for a few years and the parking brakes locked up. There's a slight exhaust leak at the left manifold, no A/C, some rust as shown in the photo's, this truck has a very tight turning radius due to it used to be longer and is excellent for moving large trailers in a tight space. This would also make a great portable trailer or mobile home mover. First gear is extremely slow. The tire size is 235/80 R22.5, this truck is geared low and is not capable of cruising down the highway at 80 MPH, but it is a very strong pulling or hauling truck that works well for local use. The reserve is set just over what I recently had to invest into the truck so it would drive! It is located in Pompano Beach FL, 33062 and may be viewed by appointment only. The winning bidder MUST fund a $1000.00 deposit within 24 hours of auctions end. The preferred method to complete the transaction would be bank wire transfer.
